• Timely development of innovative products and services
• Use innovative strategies and tech-based resources such as market analysis and competitive research
• Train and supervise other staff
• Drive regional awareness of the partnership and play demand generation and support of sales opportunities
• Identify foundation, corporate and government grant funding sources
• Develop strategic relationships with appropriate entities
• Developing and maintaining a technical roadmap for the company, ensuring that all projects are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Communicating technical progress and challenges to executive leadership teams, ensuring that they are informed and can make informed decisions
• Support environmental efforts to promote ‘green’ facilities by assisting sites with various environmental process issues, such as waste water compliance
• Support development and implementation of equipment and process technology roadmaps
• Promote and ensure lean practices and process technology utilization throughout company and external suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and costs
• Actively search for new manufacturing technologies and aggressively evaluate and report on all manufacturing opportunities that will contribute to company’s objectives and goals
