As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the research and design of our
products and systems. This with keeping in mind several aspects such as cost'effectiveness, user experience and most important to comply with the applicable
legislation our products and systems work in. In the position of Design Engineer within
KOKS Robotics you also will be Mechanical Engineer as we also expect you to oversee
and participate into the production process.
Job description
• Research and development in natural and technical sciences;
• Design and construction activities for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic
prototypes and equipment;
• Development, production, assembly, testing of remote-controlled trucks, arms,
manipulators and single-purpose equipment;
• Development, production, assembly, testing and improvement of equipment for
sludge removal in tanks with explosive environment;
• Development, production and testing of equipment for applications of monitoring,
treatment and management of radioactive waste in nuclear energy;
• Development, production and testing of equipment for hazardous waste treatment;
• Operation and service of manufactured equipment;
• Certification of manufactured devices based on ATEX directives;
• Oversight over production employees.
The ideal candidate has/is
• A degree with relevant technical direction;
• Experience in a similar position within a technical production company;
• Technical drawings and schemes creation;
• 3D and 2D CAD program (Inventor and Autocad);
• Basic knowledge of welding, water jetting, laser, turning and milling;
• Experience with hydraulic systems an advantage;
• Experience with ATEX an advantage;
• Responsibility and responsible approach to problem solving;
• Good communication skills in Slovak and English or German language
